This special issue of the journal is devoted to the International Scientific and Practical Conference on "Current Problems of Mathematical-Physical Equations and Information Technologies" which was held on April 17–18, 2026, jointly organized by Namangan State Technical University and the V.I. Romanovskiy Institute of Mathematics of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The conference featured the following main sections:
- Degenerate and mixed-type equations, fractional-order equations.
- Nonclassical equations of mathematical physics.
- Probability theory and mathematical statistics.
- Dynamic systems and optimal control.
- Problems of algebra, analysis and modern geometry.
- Computational mathematics and mathematical modeling.
- Application of information technologies in education.
- Promising technologies of artificial intelligence.
Mathematical analysis of energy consumption, energy efficiency, and the use of green energy.
